Next Meeting September 20th

Our Luau is now history, and 47 women shared in the fun! Thanks to all who came and brought all those fabulous salads—we didn’t miss the roast pig at all!   Special thanks to Peg Vaughan who picked up the ball and along with her inspired and energetic crew, made it all happen. That group includes Sue Wendling, Shelly Keller, Carol Hennessey, Josefina Hetson, Kelli Johnson, Barb Riggs, Judy Martin, and Kevin Hodges (our great audio/video guy). Peg’s friends, Mary and Suzi Titus, shared their artistic talents and proved that water coloring is definitely not as easy as we might have thought!   Many others contributed as well, so please know that it was all appreciated so much. We had fun and made some great memories!

Thanks to all who gave to the outdoor flower fund and to those who signed up to plant and/or water the flowers. Those who agreed to water for a week, mark your calendars so you’ll remember--and pray for rain!

And last but not least, please have a safe and very happy summer. We’ll see you in September for our next UMW meeting on Monday, September 20^th!

If you are not a United Methodist Women Member yet, we are taking in new members at any time. Come with a friend or come alone, because once you get here you will not be alone.

Our meetings are from 7:00 to 8:30, on the third Monday of each month, from September through May, and include time for a sharing of devotions and prayer, a short business meeting, sometimes a special program and always time for fellowship (including great refreshments!) and fun. Please call Judy Martin if you need child care while you attend the meeting.

We are still looking for new members, come join in the fellowship and fun.
