Next Meeting on September 15th 2010
7:00 PM
Our Man to Man/Spouse to Spouse group will kick off our 2010-2011 meetings Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00pm in the Library. We will meet on the third Wednesday of each month except for December, June, July, and August.
The American Cancer Society Man to Man program helps men and their spouses cope with prostate cancer by offering community-based education and support for patients and their family members.
A core component of the program is the support group. These free monthly meetings are organized where speakers and participants learn about and discuss information about prostate cancer, treatment, side effects, and how to cope. Emphasis is placed on survivorship and quality of life issues for those who have received treatment as well as the latest information related to prostate cancer and its treatment. We encourage wives or significant others to attend and participate in meetings.
