Cancer Support Group
The Cancer Support Group currently meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm. For more information, please call the Church office or send an e-mail to greensburgumc@yahoo.com
This group is for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Do you need a place to talk about your experiences, be they your own, your spouse's or friend's? We welcome you!
Some of our meetings are open discussions and some feature guest speakers who are experts in their fields, speaking in issues of particular interest to people with cancer.
We also offer one on one support to newly diagnosed people from a group member. If possible, someone with the same type of cancer.
The group is a place where you can talk about issues that may concern you about cancer, it's diagnosis and treatment.
Everyone is invited, wheather they are currently in treatment, in remission, a spouse, a friend, or anyone who is just interested in finding out more. The group meets in the Church library from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Come see what we are all about and bring a friend!!
