Saturday, July 24, 2010 - Miss Wheelchair USA Competition @ Green High School Auditorium - At 7:30 pm The City Of Green will host the Miss Wheelchair USA Competition. Contestants from all over the country will arrive in Green on July 21st to compete in the event. Tickets are $15 for orchestra seating and $10 for general admission. Tickets include the show, and an aftershow party with the contestants. You can purchase a ticket by calling 330-612-5242.
 
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - Rock Climbing @ Kendall Cliffs - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.   Come and experience rock climbing at Kendall Cliff's indoor facility offering top rope and lead climbing, as well as bouldering for all ages & skill levels; an additional signed waiver is required.  Transportation will be provided for this trip; meet at the Green High School parking lot, 1474 Boettler Road; please bring packed lunch.  The bus will depart promptly at 9:30 a.m. and return at approximately 1:30 p.m. (Please download the waiver form from www.kendallcliffs.com; subheading: Waiver Forms; fill out and return to us with your registration form and payment.)

Wednesday, July 28, 2010 - Canoeing @ Canal Fulton Canoe Livery - From 10 am to 1 pm. Participants will get to experience canoeing down the Tuscarawas River.  This will take place at the Canal Fulton Livery.  The trip down the river will last approximately an hour and a half and be 5 miles in length.  Instruction will be offered for first timers and beginners.  Life vests will also be provided for each camper.  An additional waiver is also required for this trip.  Campers may bring a packed lunch for this trip.  Parents are encouraged to attend.  (Please download the waiver form from www.canalfultoncanoelivery.com, click on the Release of Liability Form; fill out and return to us along with your registration form and payment.)

Friday, August 6, 2010 - Family Faith Night With The Akron Racers - 7:05 PM at Firestone Stadium. Join us for a night of good food, music laughter, prizes and of course a great ballgame. 

Saturday, August 21, 2010 - Movie In The Park @ Greensburg Park - Movie will be "Mr. Troop Mom" and will begin at dusk (Around 9:30) Everyone is invited. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy this Drive-In atmosphere. Concessions will be available by Fox's Pizza. FREE EVENT!

Saturday, August 28, 2010 - Art-A-Palooza @ Boettler Park - Art-A-Palooza is a fine arts festival including family entertainment, food, children’s activities, and fun!  Art-a-Palooza is rain or shine.

Friday, October 15, 2010 - Hayrides @ Boettler Park - The City Of Green has teamed up with the Green YMCA and Camp Y-Noah for hayrides. Times are tentatively scheduled from 7 to 10 PM. 7 to 8 PM are family friendly hayrides, 8 to 10 PM are haunted hayrides. The cost is $6 per person presale, $10 per person at the gate, and $1 for children 5 years old or younger.

Saturday, October 16, 2010 - Trick Or Treat Trail & Costume Contest @ Boettler Park - Costume Contest will begin around 1:30 on the north tennis court. Trail begins 3:00 and travels around the pond until 5:00. Rain or shine. Admission cost is a non-perishable food item.

Sunday, October 31, 2010 - The Greater Canton Men's Chorus - The Canton Men's Chorus will perform at Greensburg United Methodist Church. Concert will begin at 4:00 pm. Admission will be free, however a free-will offering will be taken to benefit Green Good Neighbors. 

Sunday, November 28, 2010 - Christmas At Towne Park And Kandy Kane Express - Once again this years event will be held at the City Of Green's Administrative Building beginning at 3:00 PM. Children's activities include cookie decorating, holiday games, story telling and more. (Some activities require a nominal fee) Admission is free with a non-perishable food item to benefit the Dane Foundation.
